Worth knowing
Watch for
Turn 1 comes at the end of a straight about 2.2 km long, the longest on the calendar. It is the strongest place to pass here.
The castle
Around Turns 8 and 9 the track squeezes to just 7.6 m wide as it climbs through the old town. Accidents are common in this stretch.
The old city
The lap runs around Baku's Old City, past the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the Maiden Tower.
