  The flat-out run along the Strip ends in the slow turns at Turn 14, the main overtaking zone. Cold tyres make lock-ups a constant risk under braking there.

• The night

  This is a Saturday night race under the lights, on a track that runs slippery and cold.

• The sights

  The track bends around the Sphere arena, then passes Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian on the Strip.
