• Watch for

  The 1.2 km straight between Turns 5 and 6 is the main overtaking zone, with slow corners at both ends. Drivers still say passing here is hard.

• The tunnel

  The pit exit dives through a tunnel under the track, so cars leaving the pits rejoin well after the first corners.

• The new layout

  The track was reshaped in 2021 to help overtaking, with a simpler hairpin and a sweeping banked Turn 9.
