Terms

Unofficial

Trackside Diary is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Formula 1, the FIA or any team. F1, Formula 1, Grand Prix names and related marks belong to their owners and are used here only to name the races.

Your account

• You need to be 16 or older to create an account.
• Keep access to your email or Google account safe; it is how you sign in.
• You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Your content

Your logs, ratings, tags and notes are yours. You let us store and show them to run the app: to you, and to others only where you choose (a public profile, a shared image) or without your name (community averages). You can change or delete them at any time.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• pick a username or display name that is offensive, misleading or pretends to be someone else;
• try to break, overload or get around the app’s protections, including spoiler protection;
• copy the app’s data in bulk with automated tools.

We may change a username or close an account that breaks these rules.

Race data

Calendars, session times and results come from public community sources. We do our best to keep them right, but they may sometimes be late, incomplete or wrong.

The service

Trackside Diary is free and provided as it is. We may change features, pause the service or end it. If we plan to end it, we’ll tell you in advance so you can ask for a copy of your data.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by the app being unavailable or race data being wrong. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protections of the law of your country.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters for you, we’ll let you know by email or in the app before it applies.

How we handle your data is explained in the Privacy policy. Questions? Write to hello@tracksidediary.com.
